These Terms of Service govern the use of the mobile application "FeverCare Kids" (the "Application") provided by AHopeBit (the "Service Provider") and set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service Provider and users.

Article 1 (Acceptance of Terms)

  • By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
  • You should read these Terms carefully before using the Application.
  • On the first launch, the Application displays the notice below, and you must complete confirmation (via a checkbox) to access the main features (main screen).

    Notice: "This app is a tool for recording and managing health information. It does not replace a medical professional's diagnosis, prescription, or treatment. If you have any health concerns, please consult a qualified medical professional."

    Confirmation (checkbox): "I understand that this app does not provide medical diagnosis or prescriptions."

  • If you do not complete the confirmation above, the Application may restrict access to the main features.

    Article 2 (Services Provided)

  • The Application provides the following features:
    • Temperature logging and management
    • Weight-based dose calculation support by antipyretic ingredient
    • Medication administration history management
    • Reminder notifications
  • The Application does not provide medical services, diagnosis, or prescriptions.

    Article 3 (Medical Information Notice)

  • The dosing information provided by the Application is calculated based on general, weight-based guideline ranges.
  • For actual use, you must prioritize the product label (strength/concentration) and guidance from a doctor or pharmacist.
  • Acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and dexibuprofen are different ingredients, and the active ingredient may vary even within the same brand. You must verify the product's active ingredient yourself.

    Article 4 (Responsibility for Double Dosing and Overdosing)

  • The same ingredient may be included in other products such as cold medicines, syrups, or suppositories. You are responsible for checking and avoiding double dosing of the same ingredient.
  • You must not exceed the recommended dosing interval and the maximum dose within 24 hours.
  • The Service Provider is not responsible for outcomes caused by misuse, double dosing, or overdosing by the user.

    Article 5 (Precautions in Certain Situations)

  • Ibuprofen and dexibuprofen belong to the NSAID category and may require caution in situations such as an empty stomach, dehydration (e.g., vomiting/diarrhea), or suspected gastrointestinal conditions.
  • In such cases, you should consult a healthcare professional before deciding whether to use these medicines.

    Article 6 (Emergency Guidance)

  • Seek medical care immediately if any of the following occur:
    • The child appears severely lethargic or has decreased consciousness
    • Difficulty breathing
    • Seizures
    • Severe dehydration (e.g., decreased urination)
    • Rash or other warning signs
  • If the child is very young (infant/toddler) or has underlying medical conditions, consulting a healthcare professional is recommended regardless of the calculated result.

    Article 7 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

  • The Application is provided as a health management aid and does not replace medical judgment.
  • The Service Provider is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from reliance on information provided by the Application.
  • The Service Provider does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the Application's information.

    Article 8 (Changes and Suspension of Services)

  • The Service Provider may change or suspend features of the Application as necessary.
  • The Service Provider may modify part or all of the services without prior notice.

    Article 9 (Termination of Use)

    The Service Provider may restrict or terminate your use of the Application without prior notice if you violate these Terms.

    Article 10 (Changes to Terms)

  • The Service Provider may revise these Terms due to changes in applicable laws or service policies.
  • Updated Terms will be provided through in-app notices or other methods deemed appropriate by the Service Provider.
